Wheel balancing

Mobile Wheel Balancing at Your Home or Work

Every tyre we fit is balanced before the wheel goes back on the car. It comes with the fitting job rather than being booked on its own.

  • Servicing all of Sydney
  • Seven days, 7am to 7pm
  • Fitting and balancing included

Balancing comes with the fitting

We do not sell balancing on its own. Every tyre we fit is balanced on site before the wheel goes back on, whether the tyres came from us or you supplied them and booked the fitting as a standalone job.

What the balancing job includes

The wheel comes off, goes on the balancer, and goes back on, all at your place.

  • Each wheel spun and measured on site
  • Weights fitted to bring it back into balance
  • Old weights taken off before we start
  • Wheels torqued up properly on the way back on

Before we arrive

What we need from you

  • Somewhere flat to park

A driveway, a carport or a quiet kerb all work. We need enough room to open the van and get around the car.

  • The keys and the car

Someone to hand over the keys, or the car left unlocked somewhere safe. You do not have to stand and watch.

  • The locking wheel nut key

If your wheels have locking nuts, leave the key in the car. Without it the wheels cannot come off.

FAQs

Wheel Balancing Questions

What people ask before booking a balance.

0414 198 569
What does wheel balancing cost?

Nothing on top, because it is part of the fitting job rather than a service we sell separately. Every tyre we fit is balanced before the wheel goes back on.

Can you balance wheels with tyres I bought elsewhere?

Yes, as part of fitting them. Book the fitting as a standalone job and the balancing is included in it, the same as it is when the tyres come from us.

How do I know if my wheels need balancing?

A vibration through the steering wheel or the seat that shows up at higher speeds is the usual sign, and so is tread that has worn unevenly across the set.

Is balancing the same as a wheel alignment?

No. Balancing evens out the weight around the wheel so it spins smoothly. Alignment is a separate job that sets the angles the wheels sit at.

Do you balance the wheels where the car is parked?

Yes. The balancer travels in the van, so the whole job happens at your home or workplace anywhere in our service area, on any reasonably flat ground.

Steering wheel shaking at speed?

Tell us what the car is doing and we will work out what it needs. Balancing is part of every fitting we do, at your home or workplace.
